The MVLGA Championship 2019 was held at Kedleston Park Golf Club, Derbyshire on 23rd May. There were 81 entries playing a challenging course in good condition, and in glorious sunshine. Thank you to Kedleston Park GC for hosting the event.

Congratulations to Julie Brown (Trentham), who had a great score of 71, three under par, to successfully defended the title she won last year. Pat Hale (Edgbaston) beat Liz Moverley (Copt Heath) in a card playoff to win the Madeleine Fysche Trophy.

Particular thanks go to Edna Beadsmoore (Derbyshire), Maggie Wylde (Derbyshire) and Chrissie Hopkins (Staffordshire) for their help throughout the day.
