Over the last week - Orkney has hosted the 20th International Island Games.

Many Congratulations to Sophie Beardsall MSWGA player - representing the Isle of Whight - who picked up individual and team golf golds.

She beat some quality golfers: one of the Bermuda players, playing off plus 2, shot a course record 65 on day two; one of the Swedish players (finished in silver) shot 67 on day two. Sophie was one shot behind playing the 18th in the final round - she got the birdie she needed - the Swede bogied - which gave Sophie the Gold Medal 🥇
